| Author's notes |
Tony has been at Clevedon R F C since the age of seven. Started under the coaching of Terry Harris and with a brief spell at Yatton due to a clash of personalities with ex-coach Kevin Spencer. Has been a regular in the 1st team for the last 5 years often playing through injury then using it as an excuse for walking everywhere. Has been a regular in the hospital having an operation on his neck, hip and both knees in the summer. Hates losing and has been known to throw his toys at losing a game of touch rugby in training.
Off the field has been known to like a few beers, and is always in the mood for a laugh and a joke even if nobody else is, and has been known to speak before he thinks on more than one occasion.

| Editor's notes |
Tone is his own worst enemy. He often opens his mouth before engaging his brain and consequently ruffles a few feathers by doing so. Despite that, Tone will always chat to anyone young or old after the match and will often be found in the company of some young lady (if there are any about) trying to improve on his single status. He is a constant source of amusement in the changing room and doesn't mind being the butt of a few jokes. He has made a miraculous recovery from rugby career threatening injuries - fused neck, both knees and a shoulder - he'll know what pain is when he gets older.
Tone is another true green blooded player who would do anything to keep the 1st XV number 3 shirt. A fearsome scrummager and when he gets in the mood he is an asset around the field, although he does need to increase his fitness level to achieve the dominance of his front row heros. Coaches and refs a junior side on Sunday and is the originator of the player profiles. The club and changing room would be a quieter place without him that's for sure. |
