Clevedon started against long standing rivals Old Reds in fine style and took an early lead with a penalty by Mike Lowis. A break down the blind side from a scrum, and a good handling movement resulted in Tom O'Rourke scoring a try which Lowis converted. Clevedon completely in the driving seat scored an excellent try through Christian Bushell. Old Reds were rewarded a try just before the break following a period of pressure near the Clevedon line. Clevedon, playing with pace and confidence, opened the second half scoring with a well worked try putting Chris Cates over in the corner which was followed by another by James Shopland. Then good line out work and drive saw Owen Biggins score a try which Lowis converted. The final try was scored by Bushell after good work by the backs, especially Adi Freeman. A good result and a confident performance by Clevedon.
