The mighty, all conquering Clevedon Allstars freshly promoted to Somerset 2, came unstuck against a fit and fast Oldfield second team full of last year's first team.

The pace in Oldfield's backs was far too hot for the Clevedon middle-agers, but had if been a game of just forwards then Clevedon would've won 28-0!

With no rolling replacements, this league will be a tough challenge for the Allstars, who will be doing begin sprint training this week, coached by that well known flyer, Johnno Pearce.

There is no challenge tough enough to withstand the ensuing onslaught from these highly experienced and enthusiatic men-boys, so this league had better watch out.
